Keeping Safe with ECA

Here at East Coast Adventures, we pride ourselves on our exciting, adaptable and varied events. However, our priority is to keep all of our customers and staff safe whilst with us. We ensure that safety is paramount in everything that we do. All customers can be reassured that an event with ECA will support inspiring outdoor learning experiences backed by excellent safety standards, policies and procedures. We are covered by Public Liability Insurance with £5 million Limit of Indemnity.

Governing Bodies

We work with our industry governing bodies including (but not limited to):

- British Canoeing
- Archery GB

- Mountain Training
- NCFE Bushcraft Accreditation

Our Team

All of our staff adhere to ECA's Behaviour Code, are DBS checked and have undergone safeguarding training with the NSPCC.

Risk Assessments

Each event has a designated Outdoor First Aid lead and is fully risk assessed. Risk assessments for each session are available to you upon request, please do not hesitate to ask.

Everyone has a responsibility to safeguard all customers, and all of our team have a duty of care to those whom we are leading for. We place great importance on creating and maintaining an environment in which children and adults feel safe, secure, and respected. If at any time you have any safeguarding concerns, please refer them directly to our founder and safeguarding lead, Ricky Burrows - 07388 091459.
